Six figure domain sale leads NameJet list.
NameJet reported 136 domain name sales of $2,000 or higher for last month, totaling $845k. Here are ten sales that I found noteworthy.
Kohl.com $144,500 – It’s just one letter off from a valuable retailer. The owner should be careful about parking this domain.
ClinicalStudies.com $36,200 – Pharmaceutical research companies pay big bucks to get study participants.
WhyBiotech.com $10,201 – WhySoMuchForThisDomain? Because it was previously used.
Lewisville.com $8,999 – Lewisville is a city in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
NewJerseyHomes.com $8,600 – Which are worth more, StateHomes.com or CityHomes.com domains? This domain was previously used, too.
Facets.com $8,088 – Ammar Kubba bought this domain. It sold for about $12,000 in 2012.
CashSettlement.com $5,150 – Two uses: lawyers and companies that convert annuity settlements into lump sum payments.
Weedman.com $5,100 – Something tells me Drew Rosener was bidding in this auction. Tucows was the seller.
FrightNight.com $2,401 – I bet traffic to this domain spikes around Halloween. It’s the name of a movie but also a common term for Halloween events.
CampaignManagement.com $2,018 – A very common term but also a lengthy domain name.
