Another CEO leaves DigitalTown

Nagy exits business three months after taking CEO role.

George Nagy has left the CEO role at DigitalTown after just three months on the job.

Nagy, who had been COO of the company, took over for Rob Monster when he left in September. Monster is the CEO of domain name registrar Epik.

DigitalTown is relevant in the domain name industry because it owns a lot of new top level domains including about 11,000 .city domain names. It also has marketing agreements with new TLD companies in which it guarantees certain purchases.

The company creates city websites and pitches itself by combining a bunch of buzzwords like blockchain, smart cities and cryptocurrency.
