Glock, the famous weapons manufacturer, filed a complaint before NAF asking the trasfer of the GSSF.COM domain, alleging abusive domain name registration and use under the UDRP Rules against its\u00a0United States Patent and Trademark Office (\u201cUSPTO\u201d) trademark in the GSSF mark, registered on March 2, 1999 and bearing the registration number 2,228,018. WebLegal, representing the Respondent, argued \u00a0four-letter domain names are extremely valuable premium domain names; further, \u201cGSSF\u201d evinces many different connotations and as such is generic, and as a result Respondent registered the <gssf.com><\/strong> domain name with the intent to trade it as a legitimate activity. After consideration of Respondent’s records of win in UDRP proceedings, the NAF Panel agreed to consider the case on its own merits as relating a very valuable premium domain name, without the pay-per-click having a direct bad-faith character and also decising\u00a0that Respondent\u2019s business as a generic domain-name reseller is legitimate and has not attempted to profit in bad faith pursuant to Policy \u00b6 4(b)(iv). The Panel ordered that the GSSF.COM remain with the Respondent.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
