Fee will apply to any purchase/funding not made by wire transfer.
NameJet will soon start adding a 2.5% surcharge to purchases and deposits made with payment methods other than wire transfer.
The fee kicks in December 14. It will apply to credit card payments, as well as the new payment options of PayPal and Alipay.
On the plus side, you will be able to make purchases of up to $5,000 with these online payment methods. The previous limit was $2,500.
NameJet sister company eNom already charges fees for payments made with credit cards.
NameJet also announced that it is teaming up with Right Of The Dot for the auction taking place during NamesCon in January.
